Holiday Shopping Guide 2015

2015 Holiday Shopping Guide!

It's all below the cut! I've tried to add highlights of each sale, because there's no way I can go into exhaustive detail and list all of the deals. Links to the flyers have been added for each entry, so you can check whichever retailer you would like.

Also, just gonna leave this here for now: Kinja's one-stop "how to Black Friday" guide

P.S. If you're in the market for a PS4, pretty much every retailer is offering it in a bundle with the Uncharted collection for $299.99. But if you're looking for an XBoxOne, I suggest getting it from Target. It's $299.99 there, like all the other retailers, but Target is throwing in a free $60 gift card.

  • Black Friday: They are offering absolutely tons of deals on clothes and shoes. WALGREENS:
  • Most of Walgreens' Black Friday deals hinge on having their store card. They are offering 40-50% off of toys, buy one get one free on As Seen On TV merchandise, buy one get one free on candies and cookies, etc. They are also offering $10 and $20 "bath and body" and fragrance gift sets.
BARNES AND NOBLE:
  • The B&N isn't doing a whole lot for Black Friday, but they are offering 30% off of "your choice of any item" with the exception of Nooks. Whether this is one item per purchase or each item in a purchase isn't specified, but the deal is good from the 26th to the 29th. KMART:

  • Black Friday: KMart is running a 3-day sale from Thursday to Saturday. There are lots of doorbusters only good on Thanksgiving, but plenty of deals are good for the entire sale: 50% off Christmas decorations and off all apparel, an additional 20% off all fine jewelry, buy one, get one for $1 on footwear, and buy one, get one for 50% on tons of toys, etc. (Note that stores in MA, ME, and RI are closed for Thanksgiving, so the doorbusters probably won't apply there.)

TOYS R US:

  • Black Friday: Toys R Us is offering roughly 40-50% off of most toys (although the discount amount depends on the toy) for their Black Friday sale. A good amount of these are available as Thursday doorbusters, although some as Friday only. They're offering game consoles here for the same price as other retailers, and anywhere from $10-30 off select video games, as well as a 2 for $25 deal on their "R Super Buy" games. Of special note is an in-store-only "buy 1 DVD, get 1 for $1" deal, which includes new titles such as Jurassic World. For doll fans, the Ghoulia and Slo Mo exclusive 2-pack is available for 50% off!
  • December 6th to 12th, all video games are buy one, get one 40% off!

AMAZON:

  • Amazon isn't exactly doing a Black Friday sale this year. Instead, they are offering "waves" of sales from now through Black Friday. A lot of these are Lightning Deals, and many of those are exclusive to subscribers to Amazon Prime. Plus, many deals will only be available through their mobile store. They are, however, tending to price-match other retailers' sales, so keep an eye out!
